COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed an unprecedented impact on everyday life. COVID-19 has forced uncomfortable challenges and restrictions on our local ideals of sport, education, celebration, social entertainment, holidays and of course business. Despite the very difficult COVID-19 challenges, us here at Yangan Cash & Carry, as a locally owned family business, are fully committed to driving opportunities for our local community.

Primarily, YCC would like to appreciate the local ongoing support during this time. COVID-19 has brought its own disciplinary rules in which we all ensure to abide by. We appreciate the exhausting lengths of your COVID-safe actions and understanding the irregularity of our convenience and hospitable dining. Hence, we say thank you!

Although Queensland restrictions have become more relaxed, it is imperative that our local community continues to remain COVID-19 safe. Therefore, we do ask that you keep up to date with the directions and intelligence of the Chief Health Officer. It is important that our local community of Yangan and surrounding towns look out for each other while we wait for the virus to suppress. To do this we can:

  • continue to wash our hands thoroughly and regularly,
  • get tested and stay home when you feel ill,
  • keep a safe 1.5-metre distance (where possible) from other people,
  • avoid hand shaking (i.e. use your elbows),
  • ensure to cough into your arm and/or use tissues,
  • practise good hand hygiene by frequently applying hand sanitiser. You will have noticed that our YCC staff provides hand sanitiser immediately on entry – feel free to use this as much as you require. And,
  • if you are dining in, please ensure you scan the COVID-19 QR code provided.

You can be assured that the YCC staff are taking strict measures to ensure a healthy and safe workplace to enhance customer satisfaction and care.
